Strega Gardens and Herbal Care provides products and services that help improve health naturally and gently. Using plants as our medicine is essential to thriving in this modern world, which has forced us away from nature and diminished our awareness of our own bodies.

Laura Elvira DiNardo

Laura Elvira DiNardo started the business in 2000 as a way to share her skills and knowledge in the field of herbal medicine. Strega is the Italian word for witch, so the name of the company recognizes the importance of Laura's Italian heritage.

Laura is committed to helping women fully re-empower themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. In Laura's practice, she values intuition and listening to your own body as the best ways to promote healing. Only by re-connecting with nature and the earth can we restore the delicate equilibrium of our bodies, minds, and spirits. Plants can be used in so many different ways, internally and externally, to create a complete holistic approach that is essential for real healing.

Laura believes that, by dealing with the core imbalances in our lives in a loving and gentle manner, we can to return to living a life filled with vitality, with a peaceful hearts and a hop in our steps!

Laura's practice includes energy work, nutrition, chakra clearing, plant spirit medicine, wise woman tradition, and shamanic journeying. Her unique gifts and skills help facilitate new and diverse discoveries of ourselves by utilizing plants as medicine and spirit as the guide.

Maya Uterine Massage

Laura was trained in Maya Uterine Massage by the famous Ms. Beatrice Waight in Belize. The Mayan traditional healing practices for women's health encompass a ritual approach to healing using herbs, ceremony, and an external non-invasive touch that massages the abdomen and lover pelvis. This helps to guide the internal organs back into balance. It is useful especially for conditions like abdominal cramping associated with PMS, digestive upset, constipation, bladder complaints, painful intercourse, endometriosis, miscarriage, infertility, low backaches, poor circulation that causes blood clots, and painful or irregular menstrual cycle. The lower massage gently lifts and encourages the uterus into its optimal place. Massaging these areas helps to break up spiritual, emotional, and physical congestion.

Flower essences are an ingestible energetic medicine that works on the subtle levels of the subconscious emotional mind and body. Laura always asks to incorporate something into your daily life because ,as the body heals, what is not needed anymore will just fall away. We come into balance while eating what our body needs and wants. Through discussion and a diary of your diet we can achieve your goals.

Herbal Birth Control

Learning to listen to one's body and paying attention to the signs of fertility are the best ways to prevent pregnancy or increase your chances of getting pregnant. Using herbs to nurture that potential and help regulate the menstrual cycle, Laura will help you find the natural rhythm of your own cycle, so you can enjoy a healthy moontime.

Sessions and herbal consultations generally last from 1-2 hrs. We discuss what other treatments if any you have tried or are currently doing and what you expect from me. My belief stems from ancient healing traditions in which healing of the client is a co- creation. It takes work on both sides. During our time together in a sacred space, we will work to design a protocol specific for you.
